European Business Course

Schedule:

from 29th July (Monday) to 23th August (Friday);

  • arrival date: 27th July (Saturday)
  • departure date: 25th August (Sunday)

classes from Monday to Thursday for 4 weeks (leaving the weekends free for excursions and social programmes);  
4 x 5 lessons a week, with altogether 80 lessons for the whole course; 
classes from 9.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. on the 16 teaching days
application deadline: 1st July

SUBJECTS

  • Business Communication in English (from small talk to negotiations, and the intercultural aspect) - 20 lessons
  • Business Informatics (tools and methods of digital communication) – 20 lessons
  • International Marketing, the Current Trends in Europe (Social Media Marketing, Customer Relationship Management, B2B and B2C solutions) – 20 lessons
  • Economy of the European Union (institutions, currency, companies, and other major issues) – 20 lessons

Entry requirements:

  • completed secondary school studies (O and A-level GCSE exam certificates will have to be submitted)
  • min. B2 level English language proficiency (IELTS or TOEFL certificates will have to be submitted
  • students with a lower level (but min. B1 level) English language proficiency  will receive more Business English classes and fewer classes of Informatics, Marketing and Economics
  •  if no internationally recognised Engish language cerificate is available, a skype interview with WBS staff will be accepted 

Course fee:

1350 EUR per person

the fee includes hot lunch in the school canteen on every teaching day, i.e. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays

Supporting services for Chinese participants

provided by Kínai-Magyar Investment Szolgáltató Kft., separately from WBS and for a separate fee

  • supporting the visa procedure and the purchase of an insurance
  • receiving students and arranging their airport transfer
  • arranging accommodation and catering services (with the exception of the hot lunches provided in the school canteen on the 16 teaching days) for students for the whole period of their stay
  • help purchase a travel pass for students
  • organising cultural programmes and trips within and outside of Budapestproviding guidance on health care services
  • providing a call centre service for 8 hours on workdays to help solve students’ everyday problems
