COURSE INFORMATION

Course title: EUROPEAN BUSINESS ENGLISH COURSE

Length: 8 days tuition plus 2 weekends

Number of lessons: 5 per day, 40 altogether

Dates: from August 10th to August 23rd

Timetable: from 9.30 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.

                  with a 15-min. tea-break and a 30-min. lunch-break

                  from Monday to Friday on the first week,

                  and from Monday to Wednesday on the second week

Tuition fee: 780 EUR*

                   which contains a non-refundable registration fee of 50 EUR

                   and 2 free sightseeing tours in Budapest

                   *special offer: bring along a friend or two, and enjoy a 10 per cent allowance from your own tuition fee :)

Other costs: accommodation (btw. 8-15 EUR per person per night in 2-4 bedded rooms, cca. 150 EUR altogether);

                     catering (cca. 14 EUR per day, 210 EUR altogether);

                     travel pass in Budapest (cca 20 EUR);

                     travel insurance;

                     return flight ticket;

                     sightseeing tours outside Budapest**;

**Options to choose from: Szentendre, Esztergom, Balatonfüred and Tihany

Application deadline: extended to 14th July, 2020

Recommended arrival date: 8th August

Recommended departure date: 23rd August

Acceptance letters for the tourist visa will be issued after applicants have transferred the tuition fee as well as the costs of the accommodation. Visa-interviews are recommended to be scheduled by mid-July. If their visa-application is rejected, the tuition fee will be refunded to the applicants within 30 days after the school has been sent the visa-refusal decision, while the accommodation costs will be refunded according to the refund policy of the accommodation provider (usually with a 30 per cent deduction).

Entry requirements:

  • min. 18 years of age
  • Secondary and Higher Secondary School Examination Certificates
  • min. B1 level English language proficiency, i.e. IELTS min. 4.0 or TOEFL iBT min. 47 – if no English language certificate is available, a skype-interview will be conducted with school colleague

  • practising small talk
  • improving attentive listening skills
  • awareness-raising about verbal and non-verbal elements of communication
  • studying and practising successful presentation techniques
  • the intercultural aspects of communication
