Sport Operations Expert

WBS cooperating with Inter CDF SE
Academic requirements: Completed secondary school studies: O-levels and A-levels
Required level of English language proficiency: B2 level (IELTS min. 5.5. or TOEFL IBT minimum 72 or equivalent)

If no internationally recognised English language certificate is availbale or if applicant is not from a country where English is an official language, applicant will be required to prove his/her English language proficiency through a skype interview with the admissions officer of WBS.

Duration: 2 semesters 

Total costs: 10900 EUR, which contains

- 5900 EUR, which is the fee for the tuition on the Sports Operations Expert Course at WBS, including lunch on tuition days, and
- 5000 EUR, which is the fee for the football training sessions and other football-related activities at Inter CDF SE.
- Please, note that on top of the tuition and training fees, applicants are also required to pay 900 EUR in advance for the accommodation and the catering of the first 2 months of their stay in Budapest. The rest of the living costs for the whole programme will have to be deposited on their sponsor’s bank account.

This Programme will commence on September 16th, 2019 and finish on June 26th, 2020.

The Sport Operations Expert Course has been designed for students who would like to build a career in the world of sport. The aim of the programme is to train managers and manager assistants who have an insight into the current economic, political and social factors and processes, and who thus are able to 

  • make and prepare professional decisions based on their special theoretical and practical knowledge and expertise,
  • plan, allocate and manage the available resources, as well as use these resources in the most effective ways,
  • set targets and define tasks for the staff members of different sport organizations.

WBS reserves the right to test its students English language knowledge upon arrival in Hungary and prior to the commencement of the programme.

Please, note that each course will demand out-of-class preparation and self-directed learning. Regular attendance, active participation, completion of in-class and out-of-class assignments are also required. Final grades will be based on continuous assessment and end-term examination results.
